Vermont has issued its first retail adult-use marijuana business license, with at least one store scheduled to open Oct. 1. The state Cannabis Control Board granted retail recreational marijuana licenses to Mountain Girl Cannabis in Rutland and Flora Cannabis in Middlebury, and allowed Ceres Med in South Burlington to transition from medical use to adult-use marijuana sales, according to the VT Digger. The state said the delay in issuing outdoor grower licenses could create supply challenges.
