The export of Chinese agricultural products to Vietnam increased sharply

Vietnam's Vietnam net reported on September 13 that in the first eight months of 2021, Vietnam's imports of various agricultural products reached US $28.8 billion, an increase of 44% over the same period in 2020, including US $17.8 billion of major agricultural products, an increase of 57.7% over the same period in 2020.

As the third largest supplier of agricultural products imported by Vietnam, agricultural products imported from China account for 7.3% of the total agricultural products imported by Vietnam. In the first eight months, Vietnam's import of agricultural products from China reached US $2.1 billion, an increase of 50.3% over the same period last year, including US $236 million of fruit and vegetable products from China, US $103 million of aquatic products, US $131 million of rubber, US $681 million of wood and wood products, US $233 million of pesticides, US $340 million of various chemical fertilizers and US $133 million of animal feed.
