In terms of exports, the total export reached nearly 38.8 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%. Among them, the export of major agricultural products was nearly 17.4 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.7%; The export of main forest products was about 12.8 billion US dollars, an increase of 22.3%; The export of aquatic products reached nearly 6.9 billion US dollars, down 0.8%; The export volume of livestock products was 359 million US dollars, an increase of 6.1%; The export of production products was about US $1.4 billion, an increase of 22.3%. The categories of commodities with increased export volume in the first 10 months of this year include coffee, rubber, rice, fruits and vegetables, pepper, cashew nuts, cassava and cassava products, animal husbandry products, shrimp, wood products, rattan, bamboo, sedge carpet, cinnamon, etc., of which the export volume and export volume of rubber, cashew nuts, cassava and cassava products have increased.
In terms of import, in the first 10 months of this year, the total import of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products reached US $35.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 39.1%. In the first 10 months of this year, Vietnam's agriculture, forestry and fishery realized a surplus of nearly US $3.19 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 63.2%. It is worth noting that in the first 10 months of this year, the United States became the largest trading partner of Vietnam's agriculture. In terms of exports, Vietnam's exports to the US market reached US $10.8 billion (accounting for 27.9%), and the US is far ahead of China and has become the largest export market of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products in Vietnam. In terms of import, the United States has surpassed Cambodia to become Vietnam's largest agricultural import market, with an import volume of nearly US $3.3 billion, accounting for 9.2%.
