Peru's business daily reported on October 21 that Bustamante, President of the Peruvian blueberry Producers Association, said recently that Peru will maintain its position as the world's largest blueberry exporter for the third consecutive year this year. As of October this year, Peru has exported 112000 tons of blueberries. It is expected that the export output will increase by 40% year-on-year by the end of the year. The United States is the largest export destination of Peruvian blueberries, accounting for more than 50% of the total export. China and Europe are also one of the main export destinations.
