Michigan's marijuana retailers reached a new benchmark of nearly $210 million in total sales in July, the program's best month yet. Retailers sold $188,818,744 worth of recreational marijuana and $21,121,711 of medical marijuana last month, according to the head of Michigan's marijuana regulator. Meanwhile, Michigan growers are reporting a plunge in wholesale cannabis flower prices, which means demand is strong. Michigan listed 1,684 active marijuana business licenses in July, with Class C marijuana growers leading the way with 653 and retailers ranking second with 541.
