Medical marijuana patients registered in Connecticut can now buy up to 3.5 ounces of marijuana a month. The increase from the previous 3-ounce-a-month limit could lead to a surge in sales at 18 pharmacies in the state. According to New Haven television wtnh, the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection said the policy change was based on an assessment of the needs of 52996 registered MMJ patients in the state. This increase is also accompanied by the state's launch of its adult marijuana market later this year.
