Health Canada seized more than 35 million grams of marijuana and 7800 plants after the inspection

Health Canada disclosed to mjbizdaily that in fiscal 2019-20, due to poor supervision, Health Canada confiscated more than 35 million grams (77162 pounds) of marijuana products and thousands of plants from federal licensees. Most of the products - 26 million grams and about 7800 plants - were destroyed, while the remaining 9.5 million grams were detained by regulators for return to re compliant licensees.
