Experts predict that corn in Ukraine will be in short supply

According to the news of agroportal network of Ukraine on October 13, as of October 11, the FOB quotation of corn in Nikolayev port of Ukraine increased by about US $8 to US $283 per ton. Experts predict that due to rising prices, the supply of black corn may be in short supply.

The Ministry of agricultural policy and grain of Ukraine reported that as of October 7, 4.17 million tons of corn had been harvested in Ukraine, with a harvest area of 786000 hectares, an average unit yield of 5.3 tons / ha, and 14% of the expected harvest area had been completed.
