Many Ethiopian universities and research institutions, including Addis Ababa University, participated in the research project. The project has cultivated trial products, and can provide cultivation technology training at the same time.
At the initial stage of the project, the research object is the main imported strains in Ethiopia, so as to promote planting, replace imported mushrooms and save foreign exchange expenditure. The project will study the traditional strains cultivated in Ethiopia.
