Cresco labs, a multi state operator, has successfully promoted a $38million tax credit and plans to establish cannabis cultivation and production facilities in Ulster County, New York. According to the Kingston daily of New York, the Committee of the Ulster County Industrial Development Authority (ucida) unanimously approved the reduction of property tax by US $27.99 million and the reduction of sales tax by US $10million within 15 years. Cresco, based in Chicago, previously said that the plant in wawarsing town would provide 375 permanent jobs. Cresco is working to complete the acquisition of New York marijuana MSO Columbia care.
