Under a new state law, California cannabis businesses will be able to do business with other markets that allow medical and recreational marijuana. On Sunday, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Senate Bill 1326 to create an interstate trade agreement. The bill was sponsored by Democratic Senator Anna Caballero, who represents nearly 1 million residents of Central California's predominantly rural farming communities. The idea of an interstate marijuana trade agreement is heating up across the country, especially in states bordering California that allow sales for medical and adult use. SB 1326 is one of several marijuana-related bills that Governor Newsom has signed in recent days.
