World bank releases report on sugarcane industry

At the seminar held in Port Louis recently, the World Bank released the Mauritius sugarcane industry report. The report puts forward proposals for the development of Mauritius's sugarcane industry in fiscal year 2021 / 22, including: compensation for bagasse (power generation) at rs. 3.50 per kWh, equivalent to rs. 3300 per ton of bagasse; And the government funded the construction of a modern sugar storage facility in Shanxi and Africa to solve the problem of sugar storage and reduce costs.
