Weedmaps parent company launches digital marijuana retail payment in Canada

Marijuana technology company WM technology is launching an integrated digital payment service for marijuana retailers in Ontario, Canada's largest adult market, and plans to launch it in other provinces. WM technology announced on Thursday that customers of retailers participating in the program will be able to browse marijuana products on WM technology's weedmaps platform and then pay retailers directly using visa or Mastercard. WM technology also launched its WM store products in Ontario, introducing the "weedmaps platform directly into the brand website of marijuana retailers" and providing retailers with customized options "to better reflect their corporate brand and create a seamless end-to-end order experience for customers." After the listing of 2021 company, WM technology was traded on Nasdaq, so the shares were traded in the form of maps.
