Turkmenistan starts winter wheat sowing

Turkmenistan's state news agency reported on September 3 that Turkmenistan started winter wheat sowing on September 3. This year, the planting area of native winter wheat will reach 690000 hectares. It is estimated that 1.4 million tons of wheat can be harvested in 2022, including 400000 tons in Ahar state, 345000 tons in mare state, 310000 tons in lebap state, 265000 tons in Dashoguz state and 80000 tons in Barkan state.
