Tilray industrial hemp food subsidiary will expand the product range of whole foods

Manitoba harvest, a subsidiary of tilray industrial hemp food, plans to launch a new series of industrial hemp powder mixed with green tea and other vegetables through the grocery chain whole foods market. A distribution agreement announced on Wednesday will match hemp protein powder with other "popular plant ingredients", such as Matcha, a caffeinated powder made from green tea. According to the press release, Manitoba harvest's Hemp + Matcha powder products will be sold in 348 locations in North America, and hemp + superfoods powder products will be sold in 382 stores. John Mackey, CEO of whole foods, predicts strong prospects for CBD and other industrial cannabis products in grocery retail. In his speech at mjbizcon in 2020, he said that there is still room to join the crowded CBD market, but manufacturers must produce consistent products.
