Store Advocacy Group - Canadian Retail Cannabis Council Launched

A non-profit advocacy organization has been launched to represent the interests of licensed Canadian cannabis stores at the federal level. The Retail Cannabis Council of Canada (RCCC) represents existing partner groups in three provinces: the British Columbia Cannabis Retail Council, the Saskatchewan Cannabis Retail Council, and the Ontario Cannabis Retail Council.Alfred Schaefer, founding director of the RCCC, said the organization primarily represents cannabis independent stores, including Ontario's In August, Canadians spent $393.7 million ($288 million) on legal adult cannabis.
