Regulated recreational and medical marijuana sales in New Mexico totaled $40.2 million in January. Data from state marijuana regulators show the monthly total includes approximately $26.5 million in adult-use marijuana sales and $13.8 million in medical marijuana sales. According to the New Mexico Department of Regulation and Licensing's Marijuana Control Division, there were 585 outlets in New Mexico as of January. 620,751 adult-use marijuana transactions averaged $42.62 and 275,983 medical marijuana transactions averaged $49.83 in January.
