Florida's health department chose Biotrack as the software provider of the state's medical marijuana tracking system

According to the press release, the agency's negotiators voted "unanimously" to award the contract to Biotrack, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company will not only monitor the flow of marijuana stocks throughout the state, but also assist in product recall. Biotrack's point of sale software is used by marijuana companies in 38 states and works with 10 other state governments. Last November, the medical marijuana project in Connecticut signed a contract with Biotrack.
