Export of raspberry in Mexico increased by 18.9% in the first half of the year

According to the report of the Ministry of agriculture and rural development of Mexico, the export of raspberry in Mexico increased by 18.9% in the first six months of this year and maintained a positive growth trend. In May 2021, the export volume of black raspberry was US $713 million, an increase of US $113 million over the same period last year. As the second largest raspberry producer in the world, the output of black raspberry will reach 146000 tons in 2020, an increase of 13.6% compared with 2019. Raspberries have been exported to 33 countries in America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Arab countries have expressed interest in importing Mexican raspberries, barley, mango, avocado, tomato and pepper because their quality and safety have been recognized all over the world.
