Colorado's marijuana sales are likely to break records in 2021

According to the sales data of the State Revenue Service in November 2021, Colorado retailers sold $158.4 million worth of medical and entertainment marijuana that month, bringing the annual sales of the market to more than $2.06 billion. But the state's sales fell for three consecutive months from August to October, down 12% from the same period last year. The decline can be explained by the depletion of covid-19 stimulus payments and people spending money on other entertainment and travel as the state recovers from the pandemic blockade.
