Colorado marijuana sales fell for the third consecutive month

According to October data from Colorado, cannabis sales in the state fell for three consecutive months, down nearly 12% from the same period last year. It is normal for sales to weaken during this period of the year. However, according to the U.S. Treasury Department, Colorado's sales in October were only $176.3 million, down from $199.8 million in the same period last year. Medical marijuana sales in Colorado fell by nearly 25%, from $38.8 million in October 2020 to $29.2 million. Entertainment sales also declined, down nearly 9% from $161 million to $147.1 million over the same period.
