Charlotte's Web Selected as MLB's First CBD Sponsor

MLB and Charlotte's Web, one of the CBD industry's preeminent companies, have signed an agreement naming the Colorado-based company as the league's first official CBD sponsor. According to Sports Business Journal, this is a significant milestone as MLB is the first of the largest sports leagues in the United States to sign a CBD company as an official sponsor. The baseball league announced in June that it would allow teams to receive CBD sponsorship. charlotte's Web was previously a sponsor of the National Women's Soccer League's Angel City Soccer Club, while the Ultimate Fighting Championship UFC was sponsored by CBD Inc. last year.
