Canadian cannabis sales rebounded strongly in March and reached a record of $358.8 million

According to the retail sales data released by Statistics Canada on Thursday, the sales of regulated recreational marijuana in Canada reached a record high in March, reaching nearly 358.8 million Canadian dollars (279.6 million US dollars). Ontario's cannabis sales in March were nearly $145million, accounting for 40.4% of the country's total monthly sales, an increase of 10.9% over February. Alberta's cannabis sales in March were $63.2 million, up 9.9% month on month. In British Columbia, monthly sales increased by 21.3% over February to $56.2 million.
