AFC gamma, a Florida based lender, said it had provided $46.3 million to three marijuana companies as part of an expanded credit line. Add $26 million to Chicago based Verano holdings, $15.3 million to Phoenix based multi state operator nature's medicines and $5 million to Michigan based natrabis. Leonard Tannenbaum, CEO of AFC gamma, said the company's strategy is to establish a long-term relationship with the marijuana companies it serves and "provide additional funds as they expand their business in new and existing states." AFC gamma raised $100 million at the end of 2021 to help fund its marijuana financing activities.
